3D Surface Models

We process CATIA® data by using TEBIS®

There are two kinds of 3D data models, surface models and volume models. These developed over time and are used in different industries.

Both are to be found at KURIOS Laserprodukt GmbH. Most of the time, classic automotive designs are created as surface models.

By using TEBIS®, Siemens NX®, and CATIA® V4 as well as V5, we early on invested into a high-performance process chain.

Data exchange of native formats enables us to not only quickly but also smoothly process even very large amounts of data, which are common in the automotive industry.

2D Surface Model

We create classic 2D data models with CAD programs like AutoCAD, BricsCAD, or OptiScout.

3D Volume Model

Volume modelers like SolidWorks prevail in the field of machining and facilitate data exchange without the risk of data loss.

Process safety, data security, and process control are decisive factors in order to be competitive.

We need to be able to absolutely rely on the consistency of our data. That is especially important when we are provided with already valuable components that need further processing based on the data situation.

That is why we bank on the widespread industrial standard TEBIS® in the field of 3D laser cutting.
